Airport Hotels - The Right Way To Start A Short Break Holiday

Filed under: General Information — @ 10:59 pm

Unless you have the dubious pleasure of living right next door to an airport one of the biggest downsides of going on holiday is catching a flight at an ungodly hour of the day. While driving half asleep at 4.00 am, with a nagging doubt you have forgot something may be some holidaymaker’s idea of fun - for most it sounds like a bad way to start your holiday. However, help is at hand in the form of Airport Hotels, where you can spend a relaxed evening - and even afford an extra hour or two in bed before leaving. Airport hotels may not enjoy the best of reputations. In many peoples mind they are ranked alongside train station pubs - filled with chain smoking business men in cheap suits. However, while there is certainly a convincing argument to avoid train station pubs (you have to pay to get in the toilet for starters), airport hotels are a long way from their cheap and not-so-cheerful roots. These days the savvy traveller can pick up a great value deal at some…

The NEW GENERATION Crazy Fit Machine system is the most scientifically superior method of muscle toning and body reshaping. The system transmits a fast sequence of vibrations specifically designed to activate and stimulate the muscle walls of the body.
This allows direct stimulation of the muscles , without producing oxidative stress, which is the typical after effect of intense muscular activity or exercise to the point of producing lactic acid, which is the cause of the disagreeable feeling of ‘hardening’ or stiffening that often follows muscular exercise particularly in unfit people.
10 Minutes equals 2 hours of exercise! Instead of spending 2 hours training, you can now get the same effect in just 10 minutes with the new Crazy Fit Machine exercise and massage system. Step out the office or at home onto the Crazy Fit Machine without the hassle of getting into exercise clothes or rushing through the shower afterwards.
Medical advantages of using the Crazy Fit Machine massage system: Psycho-physical advantages.

  • Weight loss (slimming and reshaping the body);

  • Anti-cellulite through the promotion of the of the blood flow to the problem areas;

  • Doubling of blood circulation after training resulting in the body carrying off waste products much faster thereby enhancing recovery;

  • Significant hormonal effects from training (increased testosterone and growth hormone and decreased cortisol ‘stress hormone’);

  • Enhances skin and tissue elasticity;

  • Increase of peripheral microcirculation;

  • Toning muscles and enhancement of lymphatic drainage;

  • Body remodelling;

  • Muscle strengthening;

  • Total disengagement of the cardio-circulatory system;

  • Prevention of osteoporosis through the maintenance of flexibility in the bones. (Better bone density);

  • Prevention of venous afflictions of chronic blood insufficiency to the heart, paralyses and atrophy;

  • Rehabilitation in case of sport injuries as may be needed to injuries associated to the Achilles’ tendon or knee lesions;

  • Anti-stress and relaxation;

  • Enhancement of space and time perception;

  • Superior sports training to enhance explosive power and flexibility associated to the Achilles’ tendon or knee lesions.

If we want to achieve these types of results then exercise has to involve more than walking, running or biking. Weight training is the answer, but is it for everyone?
Everyone can benefit from it but not everyone is able to do it. The Crazy Fit Machine system was specifically designed to address these problems and more, making it the ultimate solution in your weight loss goals.
The Crazy Fit Machine system stands upright on a base which incorporates a moveable plate that the user must stand on and select the program level that he/she would like to do. Operating smoothly and without provoking alteration to the heartbeat or promoting muscular fatigue, the footplate oscillates at increased levels to enhance and stimulate blood flow and tone the muscle. The system is very simple to use, simply select the program of your choice and stand of the footboard. The safe and effective approach.
Question: What do the following have in common?

- Arthritis
- Back pain
- Osteoporosis
- Repetitive strain injuries
- Poor circulation
- Sports injuries rehabilitation
- Multiple sclerosis
- Stroke
- Cerebral palsy
- Frozen shoulder
- Fibromyalgia
- Post injury / post rehabilitation

Answer: Exercise has been recommended as beneficial for people with these conditions.

Whatever the condition or goals the Crazy Fit Machine system has been shown to produce similar results to regular exercise in less time, while providing minimal stress on the joints, ligaments and tendons. The Crazy Fit Machine system is the ideal solution for those that can’t handle the stress of conventional training or lack the time. The Crazy Fit Machine system’s effect on muscle, bone and blood vessels makes it a safe and effective exercise alternative, or an effective complement to a regular training program to accelerate and enhance your results.
How does it work?

The movement of the vibration plate simulates the body’s natural ‘stretch reflex’ [tonic vibration reflex]. This is similar to the knee jerk reaction that occurs when the knee is tapped by a reflex hammer in a doctors office without thinking of it, your body responds with a strong involuntary muscle contraction leading to your leg ‘kicking’ out. With the Crazy Fit Machine technology these strong muscle contractions can be repeated at a rapid rate. Due to the involuntary effect on muscle contraction, nearly 100% of the muscle fibres are recruited. Compare this to conventional training where there is only on average 40% muscle recruitment. This benefits the rehabilitation patient looking to add stability and strength to all muscles around their joints, to the athlete looking to maximise strength gains.
The gentle rapid contractions allow the muscle to work as a pump in introducing blood to even the smallest blood vessels. This leads to the ability of the body to carry off waste products much faster, leading to increased peripheral circulation.
What is the age limit to Crazy Fit Machine massage?

There is NO upper age limit. We recommend following general guidelines on resistance training for adolescents. Taking this into consideration we recommend an age limit from 12 years onwards.
Are there any contra-indications?

Whole body vibration has already been used quite extensively and there have been no significant side effects or injuries noted. In essence the Crazy Fit Machine system is as safe as conventional resistance training.
Aging and the Crazy Fit Machine massage exercise:
Improvement in chair rising test, indicative of improvement in muscle power.
Improve elements of fall risk and health – related quality of life
Ability to promote ambulatory competence [ improved walking] in elderly woman
Beneficial for balance and mobility in nursing home residents with limited functional dependency
The following is a list of contraindications that must be kept in mind prior to an individual starting to exercise on the Crazy Fit Machine system:

Best Massage Chairs – Home Tech Massage Chair Sales

Filed under: massage — Tags: , , , , , — @ 4:20 pm

Every year Las Vegas is host to the largest consumer electronics tradeshow on the planet. The Consumer Electronics Show or CES consists of manufacturers of every category of electronics. My interest was to see the very best in massage chairs. Although there were many massage chair vendors, I was interested in the manufacturers of the top products and present what I found.

One of the exhibitors which I found was a Japanese company called Family Inada. Family Inada was displaying the HomeTech SX801-A. The Dream Wave SX801-A was the winner of the 2009 CES innovation award. The HomeTech is a very advanced chair with some very innovative features.

The HomeTech SX801 has more airbags (28) than any massage chair that I have ever tried. There are airbags that surround the calves, buttocks and also ones that can massage your entire arm. The air massage was impressive around the buttocks area and was effective in relieving tension in the neck area. The arm massage was very effective and provided a high level of compression I was expecting.

sx801-a

The HomeTech SX801is named for the advanced seat design which is incorporated into this recliner. The seat pivots to provide ergonomic support for your spine and buttocks. The seat will rock in place in a wave like movement. This helps to reduce the stress built up on the spine and relax the lower torso. This technological marvel comes in an egg-shaped design which is a bit funky for most households. All this technology comes at a price, which for the HomeTech SX801 was $2,500.

Another impressive high end massage chair is produced by Fuji Medical. The Fujiiryoki recliner provides a full body massage and a shoulder press. The shoulder press is firm and provides great relief from the sides of the body during the massage therapy. The Fujiiryoki has an FDA device listing and was touted as a medical chair. This advanced therapeutic massage recliner retails for $5,000.

The massage techniques are very invigorating and relieving. The combination of good massage to the back with the rotation of air compression from the feet, calves, shoulders and seat provides for a thorough massage experience. The design of the chair is modern with black and silver colors.

Now, having tried the most expensive chairs at the CES, I was interested in how the Omega Montage Premier would compare. I liked the neck massage of the Sogno and the shoulder compression of the Fujiiryoki. The Montage Premier, however, gave a stronger massage and penetrated deeper. Another note was the supplemental items such as music, full body heat and a traction system which the Montage Premier had but were lacking in the others.

Trying massage chairs at a tradeshow with a million people around takes you being able to relax and forget your surroundings. This is where the Montage Premier shined. I slipped on the headphones and let the soothing tunes take me away from the crowds. The Montage Premier recliner then warmed me, stretched me and gave me a relieving deep tissue massage. I felt I found the right chair and at $4,500, it was the best deal at the show.

I also surveyed the entire show for Sanyo and Panasonic who have some great massage chairs. Neither of those companies were displaying their massage chairs this year. They did have some impressive Big Screen TV’s with crystal clear images. There were an assortment of other massage chairs, but they were just at the show to sell you a massage chair. I was afraid they may not be at the show next year as they seemed a bit too high pressure to buy.

There were an assortment of other massage chairs, but I am a bit wary of these companies as they only sell at shows. Some of these chair companies I have never heard of and they probably wont be there next year. I asked these companies if they had any retailers or other distribution to confirm that they were fly by night companies. I wont bother to mention them here.

Some of the high end chairs are pretty outstanding and the technology being built into these massage chairs is equally amazing. If you are looking for a really high end chair, then the HomeTech SX801, Fujiiryoki and Montage Premier are your best bets. Finding the HomeTech SX801and Fujiroiki to try may be difficult, whereas the Montage Premier is in some major retailers. You may need to call the manufacturers to find where they are available to try.

The CES is held every year in Las Vegas in early January. It is the worlds showcase for consumer electronics. The attendance was around 130,000 people with over 2,800 exhibitors. It is so big that it spills over from the main convention center into the Sands and the Hilton Hotels. If you want to see the best massage chairs on the market, then make your plans on attending the 2010 CES show.

Acne Scar Treatment and Removal

Filed under: General Information — @ 12:00 am

Beautiful skin, without acne scars, is every woman’s dream (and some men’s too). But it seems only a small fortunate group with good genes ever attain it. But always remember that skin is a reflection of one’s health and is the largest organ in the body. Hence, it makes sense to cleanse and nourish from both the INSIDE and OUT. Your face and body do not need more clogging, synthetic oils and lotions. They need real nutrition that can make a difference when applied topically as well as nutrition internally to enhance detoxification and a healthy blood supply to the vessels beneath the skin’s surface. Natural Acne Scar Treatment Starts with Healthy Blood That sounds odd I’m sure, but what determines the appearance of our skin, among other things? The existence of poisons (or the lack thereof) and nutrients within the bloodstream feeding the skin cells. Healthy skin will never exist in the presence of health-depriving toxins from pesticides, PCBs, dioxins, etc. How do we get rid of…

Sauna Kits & Pre Built Sauna’s

Filed under: Sauna — Tags: , , , , — @ 6:42 pm

Is the prohibitive costs of a contractor dissuading you from installing a sauna in your home ? Now you can install one at half the price. Get yourself a sauna kit or a pre-built sauna.

In fact, installing a sauna kit or a pre-built sauna is really a easy job. If you have proficiency in handling some basic tools, this should not pose any problem for you. The pre-built saunas are even easier than a kit ? you simply assemble it with the help of an Allen key.

What’’s the Difference?

In a sauna kit, there are some simple pre-cut pieces which have to e put together with the help of some tools. The pre-sauna is even easier since it contains two or three large pieces which have to be assembled to get the sauna ready for use.

Since in the pre-built sauna, all the assembly has been previously done, the cost of this is slightly higher than a sauna kit of the same size. This extra cost is nothing compared to the time you save in assembling the kit. The pre-built saunas can be set up in less than an hour.

Sauna Kits

Sauna kits require some levels of skill in handling tools. It is cheaper than if you were to install a sauna from the beginning. It also saves time. The wood and other materials are all pre-cut. So simply read the instructions and fit them together.

One of the biggest advantages of a sauna kit over pre-built saunas is that it can fit into any closet or a small room. The pre-built saunas are bigger in size and can not fit into existing places. Hence they are used as freestanding saunas.

Sauna kits come in all convenient shapes and sizes. You could even have a custom-built sauna kit to accommodate your sauna in the space available.

4 person W Sauna

You have to provide the framework and electrical wiring, before you install a sauna kit. If you are thinking of converting a small room into a sauna, you have to take off the existing wall boards from the frames. After this, the frame work has to be insulated. A plastic vapor barrier needs to be installed over the insulation to restrict the vapor flow.

To install the sauna heater, you may require an electrician. Then the sauna kit is fitted onto the frame work and electrical connection is given to the heater. This could take a days work, of course everything depends on the size of the sauna and the time you can devote to the installation.

Prebuilt Saunas

Pre-built saunas, also called modular saunas are much easier to install. It contains two or three pieces which have to be connected together. It can be accommodated anywhere. The wiring and lighting are already pre-built. Some saunas carry the heater and other related accessories as well.

If you have decided to go for the pre-built saunas, make sure that the individual pieces can be taken through your doorways. Most companies marketing pre-built saunas specify the door sizes required to the pieces through comfortably.

One of the biggest advantages of the pre-built saunas is that they are portable. You may not like to carry it with you for your vacations, but if you ever decide to sell your house, you may easily dismantle it and take it along to your new home.

Likewise, a permanent sauna may increase the re-sale value of your home and the extra money can enable you to install a new sauna in your new home.

Acne Rosacea - How to Effectively Treat Rosacea Symptoms

Filed under: General Information — @ 3:00 am

Rosacea - How to Naturally Calm and Eliminate Rosacea and Acne Rosacea Acne Rosacea and Rosacea are fairly common skin disorders that primarily affect fair skinned people in their 30’s and over. While it’s exact cause is difficult to pinpoint, the symptoms of Rosacea are obvious in their manifestation on the facial skin. Typical Rosacea symptoms are a combination of any of the following: Red looking, flushed skin - especially on the nose and the cheeks, small, dilated blood vessels known as telangiectases may appear in the background, inflamed red bumps sometimes with a yellow head (acne rosacea), a shiny, oily appearance to the skin, and roughness, or “orange peel” like texture of the affected skin. Acne rosacea is the more severe of the two, and definitely is more noticeable, as it not only manifests itself in skin redness, but also in acne-like postules that infect and swell, making the skin bumpy and inflamed. Rosacea is typically aggravated by…

Acne Prevention - Exercise

Filed under: General Information — @ 11:59 pm

Now for the facts. Let’s take a look at how to combat acne. The main strategy to use is prevention where possible and better skincare. Here are several top issues of focus for each: exercise, cosmetics, diet, hormones, hygiene, medications, shaving, stress. 1. Exercise - Keeping in shape can help fight acne by fighting off negative stress levels that can come from negative self-esteem and depression. However, some safeguards need to be in place to ward off acne that can result from your workout routines. First watch which products you use on your body because you’ll most likely be sweating. With any sunscreens for outdoor workout activities and any make-up or other cosmetics, check for “noncomedogenic” and “oil-free” on the labels to help prevent pore clogging. And when your workout is finished, wash the products off as soon as possible, especially if you’ll be going into a steam room or sauna where your pores will be opening up more. You don’t…

About Skin Detoxification And Cell Healing

Filed under: General Information — @ 12:59 am

The skin is the largest organ of your body and is considered to act as a third lung, absorbing from the environment and perspiring waste into the air. The normal function of the skin is to exhale gases, sweat water and certain toxic salty substances. The skin also secretes sebum from the sebum glands which maintains the elasticity of the skin and hair. The last but not least, the skin is meant to protect the inner body. The skin accumulates toxins from inside and outside the body. The environmental pollutants, UV rays and chemicals from your personal care are as dangerous as the toxins generated from inside. For example, UV rays can generate an increase level of reactive oxygen species and reactive nitrogen species in cells which will result in oxidative damage to lipids, proteins and DNA. This is one of the reasons why UV rays can induced skin cancer. Chemicals can induce oxidation of lipids and other cell compounds which ultimately generate free radicals. In addition,…
