DRY INFRARED SAUNA | VERY LOW HUMIDITY | RELAXATION

The dry infrared sauna is a moderate temperature, very low humidity hot air bath that makes the sauna bathers sweat very profusely. New comers to this form of dry heat bathing and relaxation will need 2 to 6 weeks of regular use to acclimatize to the hot dry environment.

Hot dry saunas can be enjoyed for many reasons: as a work-out for the cardiovascular system, a deep-cleansing treat for the body, an immune system booster, and a soothing and invigorating refreshment for the mind.
There are a few precautions to keep in mind. Because of the increase in cardiovascular activity caused by the traditional hot temperature, dry saunas are not recommended for people with heart disease or other cardiovascular problems. Individuals with high blood pressure should first consult their doctor. In addition, the hot dry sauna is not advised for pregnant women, small children, or the elderly. If you have been working out, be sure that your body has had time to cool down before exposing it to the heat of a sweat bath.

Home SaunaZone SAUNA- Probably one of my best investments

Probably one of the best investments I’ve ever made is purchasing a portable infrared sauna.  Not only does it provide me with great stress relief after a long day of work, it is also a good means for healthy skin and detoxification.  In many cultures around the world, the sauna has been considered a vital part to one’s daily life for physical, mental and spiritual rejuvenation.

Throughout history the sauna has gone under many stages of evolution, mainly due to cultural influence and emerging technology.  There are wet and dry versions of the sauna.

Some of the oldest recorded saunas were pits dug into the earth where rocks were heated to high temperatures.  A basic covering was used over the heated rocks to capture the heat and induce sweating. Water could even be thrown on the hot stones to produce steam.

Here is a brief list of the progression of sauna types:

- The Smoke Sauna is one of the original saunas and is basically described in the preceding paragraph.  This type of sauna has also been fitted with a chimney fixture to eliminate the irritating effects of collecting smoke.

- A continuous fire stove is a more recent version of the above and requires continued manual support to fuel the fire.  The latest of this type are the similar electrically heated saunas which are often found in gyms or homes.  One of the negative part of the traditional saunas is that the air temperatures can average around 80 degrees celcius, which can make extended sessions uncomfortable or a session difficult to maintain for the recommended time.

- Infrared saunas use a technology that

saunatek quote has been around since the 1950s where a special bulb produces rays similar to those of the sun without the UV radiation.  The bulb heaters don’t increase the temperature of the air to extreme temperatures but penetrate the skin to promote perspiration.  I generally break into a good continuous sweat when the temperature reaches about 60 degrees celcius, almost half that of the conventional saunas.  Infrared technology saunas have been researched and purport to provide the same health benefits of traditional saunas along with the safety.  Infrared sauna heaters also can have a life to 10,000 hours.

Here are just a few of the proposed benefits of regular infrared sauna use:

- Pain Relief for muscles and joints

- Increased Detoxification

- Aids in Weight Loss

- Supports Cardiovascular Health

- Promotes Healthy Skin Elasticity and Tone

- Tissue and Muscle Flexibility

- Supports Immune Function and Proposed Aid in Cancer Therapy

- Does not dry up mucous membranes as the conventional counterparts do

There are a few differences between traditional saunas and the infrared sauna.

The biggest reasons I prefer portable and infrared is for the overall health reasons, lightweight portability and affordability.  Visit Saunazone South Africa now http://www.saunazone.co.za or call 0860448367 or 0845557227

Choosing a Hot Tub

Filed under: General Information — @ 1:00 pm

There are many models of hot tubs with different features that sell for a wide range of prices. Prices can range from just over a thousand dollars for a small and relatively simple hot tub to over fifteen thousand dollars for large and elaborate models. When purchasing a hot tub, it is important to for the shopper to know what they are looking for, how much room they have, and how many people will use the tub. Buyers may choose to purchase a portable hot tub or an in ground model depending on how much room they have and how much work they are willing to have done to their backyard or deck. It is vital to research hot tubs thoroughly and not be pressured into buying a tub that may not be adequate. A backyard hot tub is a major addition to a house, it may require the buyer to build a new deck or significantly alter the yard in order to accommodate the new hot tub. The amount of modification the buyer is willing to make is just one of the issues that needs to be…

HomeTECH Massage Chairs-What customers say about massage chair

There must be quite a few of us who are guilty of having tried out those Massage Chairs at HomeTECH, HomeMark and Verimark shops etc.
But have anyone here actually liked them enough to buy one?
If you have a massage chair, then what did you buy, why did you buy it, and how do you find it now.
Thanks.

When I was in Lagos I spend 2 hours in a airport trying HomeTECH massage chairs for FREE to ease my pains from walking, traveling and general fatigue. They have some features, but I’ve never had the urge to go out and buy one. The main factor is the fact that I have no money, but the kicker is that the amount I’d actually use it, it would be way more cost effective to sit in a chair in an airport  for 10 minutes a week then to actually go out and buy one and have to fit it in my room somewhere.

I bought my wife a HomeTECH massage chair for Christmas - she was in the late stages of pregnancy and had quite a sore back. Specifically, I bought this one: http://www.saunazone.co.za/massage_chair.htm
When she opened it, she tried (quite badly, I might add) to feign enthusiasm. But, once she’d tried it out, she swore by it - it really did help her a lot.
It feels a bit painful for the first few times, but once it’s pummelled your back a bit, it does actually seem to loosen it up. And, it’s really helpful for getting out specific knots. I don’t think it’s really designed for use multiple times a day - you’d probably injure yourself if you tried to use it like that. It does, however, give a decent deep tissue massage, which may not feel good but does help get rid of painful knots.
It’s not for everyone, but it really did help my wife (and me, to a lesser extent).

My dad bought the HomeTECH SX801-A from SaunaZone Cape a few months ago, he bought it cause he loves massages and would love to go for massages every day but can’t due to work commitments. Well he uses it everyday and i think he loves it. My mum loves sleeping on it cause it’s so comfortable. I personally love it, cause for some reason i love it when it hurts when it massages me.

Cellulite: The Biggest Female Epidemic

Filed under: General Information — @ 9:00 am

Cellulite is probably one of the most embarrassing of all physical faults that women have. Cellulite isn’t just a problem with the obese or overweight either. Normal sized and even skinny women suffer from cellulite as well! It has been surveyed that 90% of ALL women have cellulite somewhere on their bodies. That leaves only a small 10% who are actually free from this problem. Now before you start hating those women’s guts for being so lucky, you should ask yourself what you can do to get rid of your cellulite so that you will be a part of that 10%. Eventually as enough women begin to solve this cellulite problem and rid themselves of cellulite, the 10% who are free from cellulite will grow to 15% and the 90% who suffer from cellulite will decrease to 85%, and on and on. You little knew that ridding yourself of cellulite and helping your friends and family to do the same could have such a momentous effect, did you? Everyone thinks dimples are adorable, but thats only when…
