Ozone Sauna

How Does Ozone Work?
1. Inactivation of bacteria, viruses, fungi, yeast and protozoa: Ozone disrupts the integrity of the bacterial cell envelope through oxidation of the phospholipids and lipoproteins. In fungi, ozone inhibits cell growth at certain stages. With viruses, the ozone damages the viral capsid and disrupts the reproductive cycle by disrupting the virus-to-cell contact with peroxidation. The weak enzyme coatings on cells which make them vulnerable to invasion by viruses make them susceptible to oxidation and elimination from the body, which then replaces them with healthy cells.

2. Enhancement of circulation: In circulatory disease, a clumping of red blood cells hinders blood flow through the small capillaries and decreases oxygen absorption due to reduced surface area. Ozone reduces or eliminates clumping and red cell flexibility is restored, along with oxygen carrying ability. Oxygenation of the tissues increases as the arterial partial pressure increases and viscosity decreases. Ozone also oxidizes the plaque in arteries, allowing the removal of the breakdown products, unclogging the blood vessels.

3. Stimulation of oxygen metabolism: Ozone causes an increase in the red blood cell glycolysis rate. This leads to the stimulation of 2,3-diphosphoglycerate (2,3-DPG) which leads to an increase in the amount of oxygen released to the tissues. There is a stimulation of the production of the enzymes which act as free radical scavengers and cell wall protectors:glutathione peroxidase, catalase, and superoxide dismutase. Ozone activates the Krebs cycle by enhancing oxidative carboxylation of pyruvate, stimulating production of ATP. Ozone also causes a significant reduction in NADH and helps to oxidize cytochrome C. Prostacycline, a vasodilator, is also induced by ozone.

4. Formation of peroxides: Ozone reacts with the unsaturated fatty acids of the lipid layer in cellular membranes, forming hydro peroxides. There is a synergistic effect with cellular-formed H2O2. Lipid peroxidation products include alkoxyl and peroxyl radicals, singlet oxygen, ozonides, carbonyls, alkanes and alkenes.

5. Dissolution of malignant tumors: Ozone inhibits tumor metabolism. In addition, ozone oxidizes the outer lipid layer of malignant cells and destroys them through cell lysis. Phagocytes produce H2O2 and hydroxyl to kill bacteria and viruses. The generation of hydroxyl by killer cells is critical to their cytotoxic capability. Ozone stimulates conversion of L-arginine to citrulline, nitrite by phagocytes, acting on tumors.

6. Activation of the immune system: Ozone administered at a concentration of about 50 ug/cc causes the greatest increase in the production of interferon. Higher or lower concentrations have a correspondingly lower effect. Interleukin tumor necrosis factor (TNF) is released in the greatest quantities between 30 and 55 ug/cc. The production of interleukin-2 launches an entire cascade of subsequent immunological reactions.

Routes of Administration:
1.) Intravenous injection- a direct injection of the ozone gases into the vein.
2.) Intraarticular injection- a direct injection into the painful joint.
3.) Direct injection into a tumor- ozone gases can be injected into a tumor or a cyst.
4.) Autohemotherapy- 50-200ml of blood drawn into a bottle. The bottle is turned upside down and ozone is infused into the bottle and then transfused back to patient.
5.) Intracutaneous blistering- ozone is injected into the skin.
6.) Intramuscular- a direct injection of the ozone gases into the muscle.
7.) Subcutaneous- an injection of ozone gas performed just under the skin.
8.) Uterine insufflation- a catheter is placed into the uterus where ozone is slowly infused.
9.) Bladder insufflation- a catheter is placed into the bladder where ozone is slowly infused.
10.) Dental use of ozonated water- water that is bubbled through ozone gases and kept near freezing.
11.) Rectal insufflation- ozone is passed into the rectum through a catheter.
12.) Vaginal insufflation- ozone is passed into the vagina through a catheter.
13.) Drinking water- water that is bubbled through ozone gases and drank nearly immediately.
14.) In the ear- a slow flow of ozone gases is run through a small tube into the ear.
15.) Ozonated water enema- ozonated water is passed through a catheter into the rectum.
16.) Breathing ozonated olive oil- ozonated olive oil is breathed into the lungs.
17.) Deep lymphatic massage with ozonated olive oil- olive oil that has been bubbled through ozone gas until nearly solidified.
18.) Ozonated bath epsom salts and sea salt- bathing in ozonated water.
19.) Body suit- suit that is sealed off wrists, ankles, and neck. Humidified ozone is pumped into the body suit and lasts for 15-30 minutes.
20.) Steam cabinet- a cabinet filled with ozone gases you can sit in with your head protruding for 15-30 minutes.
21.) External limb bagging- the bag is placed over the affected area. Once the ozone is humidified it is pumped into the bag. It will kill any bacteria, viruses, fungus, or molds infecting the open wound. Top

In November of 2000, a patient named Craig came to Caring Medical with severe burns on his left hand. The burns were sustained from a propane tank exploding while he was attempting to remove it from a torch tip. Immediately, Dr. Hauser and the staff at Caring Medical jumped into action and began his ozone Treatment. Ozone Treatment for burns!? You got it! Read Craig’s success story below to learn more. Check out the success with the visual aid of pictures taken during his treatments.

Patient’s Name: Craig Mrazek

Testimonial for Direct Ozone & Ozonated Olive Oil on Burned Tissue.

"As a 39 year old male, I had 2nd degree burns caused from liquid propane being sprayed on my left hand & wrist while removing a #1 propane cylinder from a torch tip and having spontaneous combustion. The back of my hand was 60% blistered and the skin lifted on the entire inside of my wrist. The protocol of the hospital was to remove easily accessible dead tissue, apply Neosporin, wrap with gauze, and see my attending physician the next day. His traditional AMA protocol was to give my hand in an irrigation bath at the local rehab. section of the local hospital, remove debris after each session, apply ointment, wrap with gauze, and send me home. After 2 days with this treatment, I remembered the profound healing abilities of ozone as a burn treatment. So from the third day to the fifth day, following the irrigation, I asked the attending therapist to not apply any ointment, as I was choosing to implement an additional treatment just as soon as I would leave the hospital. You can guess how excited they were to hear that - not very. Fortunately, the staff at Caring Medical & Rehabilitation were willing and able to provide such spontaneous care. The protocol at CMRS was to enclose the burned area with a bag and fill with a critically measured form of ozone for 45 minutes, take my arm out, take a picture with a digital camera, apply ozonated olive oil, wrap with gauze and send me on my way until the next day. I changed the wrapping 3 times a day, and applied the ozonated olive oil during that time. After just 3 visits at CMRS we each agreed that the healing was so profound that no further office visits were necessary; the proof is in the pictures. By day #10 I was back to work using the normal masonry materials and equipment.

I am quite thankful for the love and care I received at CMRS!"

11/17/00 Another angle of Craig’s severe burns to the hand and wrist.

11/17/00 Craig’s hand was put in a bag and then the bag was filled with Ozone.

11/20/00 After only three days and one treatment, notice the improvement.

11/20/00 Another angle showing the amazing results after only one treatment.

11/22/00 Once again, the results speak for themselves. This picture taken before his third treatment, two days after the second.

Craig’s hand today has absolutely no scarring. The treatment he received was only Ozone!! - Remarkable.

Another view of Craig’s hand today.

Do the cares of this world leave you stressful? Would you like to relax and refresh your body in a sauna, but the idea of going to a local public sauna doesn’t impress you?

Maybe it is time to consider installing an SA Sauna in the comfort of your own home. Just imagine stepping into your sauna to unwind and relax whenever you wish in the privacy of your home.

Deciding on how you will heat your home sauna is the first step to consider. After you have decided how you will generate heat in your home sauna, the next step is to decide where you will put it. If you are going to use electric you may want it in your home. If you plan on a wood stove you may want to put it outdoors near your woodpile. If you want a steam sauna you may want to place it near a water source such as a lake, or pool.

You can install either a single person sauna or a multi sauna. There are many brands and styles like a traditional sauna or an infrared one. A traditional room is made from quality wood like cedar and is heated by a wood burning source or an electric stove.

If you think you don’t have room for a sauna, you are in luck because they make portable saunas, that can be set-up and torn down with ease. These ingenious saunas require no plumbing, rewiring, or time-consuming maintenance. It sets up in minutes without tools. All you have to do is pour in water, plug into a standard plug and in minutes you’re basking in your own private sauna. When you are finished all you have to do is fold up the unit for compact storage.

Master bathrooms, garages, and basements are excellent places to build an indoor sauna. If you prefer to build your sauna outside you can alter an outside structure by adding insulation, benches and a heat source or ,if you feel adventurous, you can build a sauna cottage.

A saunas temperature is usually 70 degrees Celsius or more while maintaining a very low relative humidity about 10 to 20 percent. Depending on the individual you can raise the humidity by pouring water on the hot rocks. If you cannot stand the heat you can always have an infrared sauna. Infrared heaters convert light directly to heat. This heat warms the bather, keeping the surrounding air cool.

Detoxification and Nutrition

We believe that the two most powerful ideas in health today are detoxification and nutrition.
Our exposure to toxins is higher now than at any point in human history. So many aspects of our lives contribute to our toxic burden without our awareness. While many of us probably have some idea that being around pesticides or automobile exhaust probably isn’t good for us, most of us would probably be surprised to know that the fire retardants present in virtually everything in our homes (in South Africa) also exposes us to toxins. Even our carpeting outgases over 12 chemicals known to cause cancer. Toxins damage cells, disrupt our endocrine systems, and impair the body’s ability to absorb nutrients and heal itself.
Besides toxins inhibiting our ability to absorb nutrients, other factors also contribute to reduced nutrition. Worsening the state of our health is our increased need for nutrients resulting from our use of antibiotics and other medications, our diets high in protein and fat, and our often high-stress lifestyles.
